Gaiety Exchange Mentorship Scheme (GEMS) Project

GEMS, with its meaning of valuable jewelry, aims to develop students’ abilities to enable and empower them to shine in the future. The mentorship scheme would provide a platform for participants to interact with different groups of local people, which would benefit them by allowing them to realize their potentials and abilities to contribute to the society.

Young Global-citizenship Programme 2008

YGCP 2008 is meant to inherit the excellence of its previous program. Supported by the Oxfam Hong Kong, the program in 2007 aims to increase students’ understanding of poverty and humanity issues of developing countries by visiting rural villages, street children and orphans in Cambodia. To enable participants a first-hand experience of the situation, we didn’t sit back and watch as a witness but as a volunteer to serve in village schools and city slums.
