Founded in 2006, Humanity in Focus (HIF) has strived to advocate changes to create a better world. Dedicated to serving marginalized groups and improving the situations in developing countries, HIF has since then organized development projects, campaigns and youth education programmes to achieve its goals. With the great successes of YGCP 2007, YGCP 2008 and YGCP 2009, HIF is proud to announce the return of our youth education series which includes both training workshops, an experience trip in Cambodia and follow-up learning activities – Young Global Citizenship Programme (YGCP) 2010!

HIF vows to raise awareness and concern of youth towards people living the developing countries. We believe that understanding the current situation is the first step to bringing a change to the world. Thus, YGCP aims at giving participants the chance to learn from experienced humanitarian workers at the front line, serve marginalized groups in both Hong Kong and Cambodia, and to see for themselves what humanity and poverty issues mean. Ultimately, YGCP 2010 ultimately aims at breeding advocates who are passionate about humanity issues, and would take concrete actions to create a better world!

YGCP 2010 is not simply a journey, but a commitment to assist people in severe need as responsible global citizens. If you hope to broaden your horizon, investigate how one and other are interrelated in the global village, and eventually, TAKE ACTIONS as young advocates of global citizenship, JOIN US NOW!
